Nice hotel, nice staff, comfortable bed. I would defenetly recommend it. The pool area was very pretty and nicely kept. We upgraded to a bigger room than the standard we first booked because it was a little small, and the upgrade was totally worth it.

We really liked the Las Cruces Biological Station and the hotel. Lots of trails to hike on that were well marked with numerous plants identified. Many birds to look at, take photos or just enjoy them. Guided tour was excellent and enjoyed by all. Hotel was very close to everything. Meals were excellent. Don't miss it.

This is an excelent option when you're planning to shop in Golfito. The hotel is near (10 min) of the free zone. The rooms are very clean, good security. They food services are excellent, with very good prices.

Good aircondition and comforteble beds. Near to the sea.

This resort provides an authentic "forest" experience while at the same time making sure all one's needs are taken care of. Dining is surprisingly good (my husband is a gourmet chef so he should know) as is the service! We couldn't ask for more but got it thanks to the friendliness of the owners. They are ever present and offer great advice (as well as conversation) for a fulfilling experience. We were sincerely sad to leave and hope to return in the future...

Half of the building is over the bay, so walking up to the rail you're guaranteed to see unique birds and small fish...possibly a crocodile or a stingray. The layout is unique in that the guest rooms open right into the dining and bar area. I quickly got used to it and found it convenient. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys ages 12 and 10. The lodge and screen walled cabins provide a nice setting with wonderful creatures and sounds all around. The tours were very good. We did a kayak tour from the gulf beach into a mangrove canal and saw sea turtles, birds, monkeys, and a sloth. Splendid place for nature lover. The owner is helpfull and really a nice man! I loved this place, people and birdwatching. The food was great.
