"Hotel Mola is a sweet, small family run hotel with a private beach and nice views over the water on the west side of Marmara. Why we liked it: (1) Comfortable rooms. While not lavish, rooms have comfortable beds, decent storage space, and excellent air conditioning. Ours were also very clean. (2) Great location. "Location is excellent, right on the sea front. The staff are friendly and efficient and speak good English. My bike was stored in a private store room. There is a good breakfast. Unfortunately the bathroom in the room smells strongly of mothballs or something like that, and I had to try to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. The air-conditioning works but seems to be weak. The window in the room can't be opened wide, so it is difficult to get rid of the smell."
