“My wife, dog and I stayed in the Parlour cottage at the end of August 2024. Please take note that they prefer cash or bankers transfer, Hotels.com does not take the money. It is so relaxing and quite, this is down to the hands off way of the owners, Martin & Kate. We arrived and found a wonderful welcome pack waiting of Bread, milk, eggs and biscuits. “Had a lovely stay at the hut. Cosy and everything you needed. Just my dog and I and it was very comfortable. On a lovely property with alpacas. Shared grounds which were great for my dog to explore too. I would book again. ”

“Location is great for the town and if you cant find any parking on the street there is a carpark about 5min walk away @ £3 - 24hrs. Property is currently up for sale and needs a little work but the bathroom and kitchen are relatively new and everything else has had a lick of paint just needs a bit of modernising and the garden needs work and isnt secure at the back meaning the dog needed to be let out on a lead every time but did us for the short break we had.”
