"A beautiful place to stay and one of our favourite hotels of the trip. The chalet is gorgeous, with a lovely outdoor pool and a really cosy, comfortable room. The staff were also warm and friendly throughout our stay. It’s a little out of town, but that’s actually part of its charm, it’s incredibly peaceful and quiet, while still being close enough to get into Beaune easily. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant, which is worth bearing in mind, although breakfast is available and they can provide other food on request. The bar is also very well stocked, which is a nice touch. We rented bikes from the hotel for €20 for the day. They’re fairly basic but perfectly adequate for exploring the surrounding area and getting into Beaune. The only small criticism would be that the bathroom could do with a little more hanging space, there weren’t really anywhere to hang bath towels, for example. Overall, a beautiful, peaceful and characterful place to stay. We’d happily return."

"We stayed overnight only on the way from South of France to Paris. Hotel is conveniently located just off of the motorway and a short drive to Beaune centre. Free parking is a great bonus although the gate closes for the night at 9.30 pm so you have to park in by then! Self check in machine was easy to use. Our room was basically fitted but clean and beds comfortable, shower had a good pressure. Overall good stopover place."

"Our accommodations at Hotel St. Regis were good and provided us a perfect location to walk to and see the finish of Stage 12 of the 2026 Tour de France. Classic French building in the heart of Chalon-sur-Saone. Air conditioner was a little weak but we did what the locals do and opened the large floor to ceiling windows and that kept us comfortable for the night in spite of the ongoing heatwave. The hotel is on a busy street but is in walking distance of several plazas, the canal, and many restaurants. Also, there is dedicated and secured parking just a block from the hotel. If your travel plans include Chalon-sur-Saone, you should consider a stay in Hotel St. Regis!"
