Great spot. Clean. Well looked after. Safe motorcycle (and car) parking. Used the spa and sauna after a long ride. Fined in the restaurant for dinner, which was exactly as I’d hoped and expected. Decent food and nice service. Would recommend as a stop on a journey or if you’re visiting the town.

This hotel is the perfect spot to stay if you are in Chalon. The front desk is very helpful. It is a quick walk to parks and other tourist areas. Walking through town is a delight. Breakfasts and dinner at the hotel restaurant were wonderful. One of our best memories will be the breakfasts both because of the view of the plaza but especially the food. We had four rooms, all arriving at different times and they placed us together without having to be asked. The staff do everything they can to make you feel special. My husband also states that they have the best croissants in all of France!

The hotel is in a good location across from the train station with easy access to food and shopping. Our room was very bright and comfortable for 2. Pretty bathroom with a big shower and lots of space. Comfortable bed, so we slept well. Nice breakfast buffet included with the room.

We had a lovely spacious room street side. All very modern especially the bathroom which was wonderful. The only thing that would be a good improvement would be to have black out blinds/curtains. Also some attention to the windows as we experienced early morning street noise. Breakfast was great, a nice selection and lovely staff. Added bonus that we could bring the dog into the breakfast room Friendly & welcoming reception staff. Overall a great stay and we would stay again.

Good hotel in area with secure parking

3 night stay over the weekend with my colleague for a business trip. My room was in good working order however my colleague had low shower pressure in the bathroom. We contacted the front desk and the woman told us that it was normal which was very strange as my room was perfect and had a good quality shower. There was no check of the room or offer to be moved to another room. Breakfast was ok at best. Deli meats were a little dry and hot food wasn’t particularly appealing.

The hotel itself is very good. We had an excellent breakfast which was reasonably priced and had plenty of choice. The young man on reception was outstanding; friendly, helpful .... and he sorted out our TV! The bathroom in our room was very good, super shower. We had a comfortable bed and were grateful for the air conditioning. The only disappointment is what we can see out of the window......

Chalon stopover en route

Our room was very disappointing with window opening on to a wall! The room was basic but clean. The surrounding area was not in the most salubrious part of the city, located next to the railway station - a good 15 minute walk from the old town. All staff were friendly and a good breakfast was provided. We were very disappointed that we paid considerably more than the rates displayed in the hotel. As a city Chalon sur Saone is well worth a visit.

Nice hotel/breakfast, Annoying AC noise.

Nice hotel, good breakfast. Didn’t have the opportunity to try the spa. Only downside was the in-room AC which had a waterpump(?) activating every few minutes to remove condense water.. very annoying.

Don’t stay during winter season.

Beautiful hotel. Great room. Good sevice. Terrible comfort. My room was cold as ice. I didn’t notice that the heat was turned off, when I just popped in with my bag. When I came back later. I was shivering under the cover for an hour before I finally could sleep. The thing is. The receptionist had already prepared for our arrival. The room keys were in an envelope. So they could have checked if the heat was on in the actual rooms. I give 5 stars in sustainability (saving energy) but only 2 stars in comfort.

Good but not great.

I chose this place randomly because it was the start of the Burgundy trail, it had a hammam and sauna and it was off the beaten path. Not sure it was the right choice for us. The spa was great. But the room was disappointing. It was a dark room with a gloomy alley view. The fixtures were modern and cool, but it did not make up for the cheap drywall and musty smell. The service is friendly. The lobby is comfortable and well appointed. Do not eat dinner at the restaurant. Breakfast was fine.

Nous avions besoin d'un hôtel à proximité de la salle de concert La Péniche et pas loin du centre ville. Cet hôtel a bien répondu à nos attentes. La chambre et la salle de bain était propre. Le lit était confortable et la chambre bien insonorisée. Seuls les oreillers ne me convenaient pas vraiment mais la personne avec qui j'ai partageais la chambre ne s'en n'est pas plaint. Nous avons apprécié la facilité pour se garer dans le parking de l'hôtel. Nous ne parlerons pas du spa ni du petit déjeuner car nous ne les avons pas utilisé/pris.
