"I was extremely disappointed at check-in. The only request I had made was a ground floor room which was provided. However, I had expected breakfast and was told it was a self-catering accommodation. I asked about breakfast and was led to believe that was doubtful and being able to invite a guest not allowed! "Tim the manager is very welcoming & a great host. He works very hard to ensure the comfort of guests & to help them plan each day so they enjoy their stay at Wilderness to the maximum. Maureen the owner speaks to individual guests each morning at breakfast & is very supportive. She has given great thought to the decoration of each room. Ours had a strong African theme & we loved it. Special touches everywhere we looked in our room. Bathroom really well proportioned & had beautiful soaps etc"
