“This is a quaint place to stay after a day of exploring the Black Hills. The room was clean and inviting. And with the common room, my friends, who love hot tea in the morning, could drink, sit on the sofa and anticipate the day’s adventures. We were given a discount at dinner at Shipwrecks, which is on the property. The next morning we were able to select from a variety of breakfast foods. The portions of the food were plentiful and we were sad we couldn’t finish the delicious food. Adam, one...

“I absolutely LOVED staying here! 😍 From the second I found this place, I was ridiculously excited about the little log cabin, and somehow it was even cuter in person. It was so cozy, peaceful, charming, and honestly just the sweetest little place to get away for a couple of days. Everything about the stay felt so welcoming and thoughtful. Communication was amazing, check-in was easy, and I really appreciated all the little touches that made it feel so comfortable and special. And the...

“I loved this well-appointed, stylish hotel in Archer City, 30 minutes from Wichita Falls. I stayed one night before the Hotter N Hell 100 recently and can't say enough about the accommodations and service. The hostess was very thoughtful and went out of her way to make sure I had a good experience, providing a place to store my bike overnight and providing a goodie bag with water and snacks the morning of the ride. The room was comfortable, with good quality mattress, towels, and toiletries. I...

“Pros: easy check-in process, nicely renovated 1912 building, very high ceilings, nice antiques in the rooms and common area, convenient walking distance to shops and restaurants (the Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center is close by and definitely worth a visit!). Con: our room was the Judge’s Chamber on the second floor and it faced Main Street. The street was maybe 25’ from our window. Main Street is one lane each direction with parking on each side. The speed limit is maybe 25 mph. We were...
