Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!

This was quite an experience. The room was well laid out, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was phenomenal and the evening cocktail hour was a nice touch, both of which were included. Will stay at Embassy Suites again for sure.

It was a real treat to stay at the Balsam Inn! The Inn is off the beaten path like I wanted and very very quite. Jenny is a warm welcoming host. She even upgraded my room just because it was available. The room itself was beautiful! It felt like I was a guest in someones Adirondack mountain home. After traveling a long way I was greeted at the desk by a wonderful female staff. She provided me dinner recommendations and reminded me of the complementary beverages in the lobby. The room was very clean and there were plenty of towels. It was a little tricky to find as the road sneaks up on you even with GPS and the room was a little thin but everything else was worth it. I always stay here when I come and visit family in New York. The breakfast options I think have slowly gone down hill :/

Our stay was good. Hotel was clean and comfy, good value for the money. Only wish the breakfast was more than bagels.

We had no running water in our apartment so made reservations here. The staff was friendly and very accommodating, going out of their way to be helpful. I never needed to ask anything from them.

The rooms were extremely clean spacious breakfast in the morning was very good 12 o’clock. Checkout is amazing. Did not utilize the pool but the check in on there it looked clean.
