“I have stayed here at this wonderful hotel many times over the past five years and the staff, cleanliness and amenities are the BEST around! Specifically the owners who greet you with a friendly smile and efficient manner each time I check in, and the breakfast staff who are clean and friendly even at 6 AM :) I love it. It’s the only place I book when traveling through Roseville. Thank you all for another wonderful stay!”

“This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area. A couple of things to know: it is 3 story, but because of the age, there is no elevator (typical with Gold Rush era hotels). They have one...

“Had a nice stay here over the weekend! The staff is very friendly and quickly accommodating to any needs. The lodge is tucked away in a quiet, but not too secluded spot, so it’s very easy to find, yet is in a safe area & away from any busy traffic. The highway is just up the road, but the road noise gets muffled a bit by the forest between - very nice! I’ll stay here again for sure if I’m in the area.”
