"Loved this hotel! Great location across from the Gallery Place metro station, tasty cafe, and AMAZING bar downstairs. The room was small but cozy and the bed, bedding, and pillows were all SO comfortable. This was the perfect home base for a weekend of sightseeing. "

"The rooms were very clean, and the staff was very accommodating to additional needs. It struck us as old that the bedding did not have a top sheet, just the duvet. It was nice that we could set the room's temperature and fan speed. The restaurant's menu was upscale and not very family-friendly; it could use a few more kid-friendly dishes. In a restaurant, if you charge a meal to the room, you get a discount. Even though the same pastry items were sold in the restaurant and the cafe, you did not receive a discount at the cafe. Great price and location on parking, and it was wonderful that they offered in/out privileges. Do not purchase parking online through third-party apps. Arlo offers a much better deal. "

I walked 10.5 miles our first day and was looking forward to relaxing and recovering my muscles in the hot tub. Went to the third floor and it had caution tape in front and closed. "The stay was fine, I really have no complaints. The only reason I didn't give a perfect rating was the price. The hotel price was inflated due to a conference in the area and unfortunately I didn't find the stay worth $500 per night, but there were few options available."

"We had a king room, which was was very nice because it included a large sitting area with an L-shaped sofa. One of my pet peeves is lack of seating in hotel rooms. It was very clean with a refrigerator and coffee maker. I wish there was an option for task lighting in the sitting area that would be less bright if one of us slept a bit later. We were there midweek to see a band playing in Alexandria. The hotel bar closed at 9pm so we were unable to stop in for a nightcap when we arrived back at the hotel at 10:30pm. If you are on a budget, please note that parking is not included and will cost $25 per night at the nearby garage. Breakfast is $11 PP for a typical serve yourself buffet that is included at many hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful."
