A highlight during an already excellent vacation!! The service and amenities were top notch. Breakfast was delicious, wine tasting impeccable, and dinner scrumptious. An unforgettable experience. The hotel was stunning, rich character and spotlessly clean. Service was standout as staff we very welcoming and down to earth whilst providing what felt like a luxury experience. Wow factor, soul food and exceptional memorys.

Our stay in Castello Vicciomaggio was a dream location and accommodation in the heart of Tuscany. It gives the sights, sounds and everything else you want from a winery/stay in Chianti. It was the most expensive place we stayed while in Tuscany, but gave us the most back in return. You're not just paying for a place to stay, you're getting the wow factor, soul food, and exceptional memorys.

A beautiful place! The castle and staff are fine. No air conditioning anywhere and it was super hot. This is not a good option for anyone with limited mobility. You have to carry your bags quite a distance across gravel to your room and then upstairs while dealing with keys and gates. Our room (michaelangelo) is needing an updo and smelled like mold upstairs. Infinity pool was wonderful and views are the best in Tuscany. We stayed for dinner, which was actually pretty good but again, no air conditioning and hot. Same with breakfast. Private tour is overpriced compared to others in area but guide was knowledgeable. Biggest complaints by far were the air conditioning and Internet. Ciao!
