"I love family owned restaurants and hotels as they carry a legacy and this place just ticked all the boxes. Recently renovated with an amazing bathroom, great amenities and clean space to live. Bed was super comfortable. So accessible to the public transport, with options to park if needed. The entire staff was so helpful, always there to guide us. Helped me save money on passes and stuff by giving options. Would stay again when I visit next!"

"Das Bodmi is a beautiful hotel, with excellent views both from the dining terrace and from each room's balcony. The hotel is very clean, the breakfast is ample and satisfying and the staff are very friendly. The only thing you need to know before booking is- as with most places in Switzerland, there is no AC. You will have to sleep with windows open which can create a need to interact with other guests who may ask you to quiet down or whom you may ask to quiet down. This happened to us, but...

"Location from train station is close to 15 mins walk while pushing the luggage, however, it’s very near to Grindelwald First. Reception leaves by 9pm so if you need anything, no one is around to help. The housekeeping forgot to leave packets of body soap/ shampoo after cleaning our room. Breakfast is good though. "

"We really enjoyed our stay! The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). The rooms are clean and modern. A resort shuttle runs when buses are not running (at an additional cost). This all made for a relaxing stay. "

"I had great experience staying at Hotel Spinne. I was traveling solo, and the room for one person was perfect for me. The room was clean and spacious with a big patio and the view of Mount Eiger! The bathroom was a bit small but I had no problem with it. I also spent time at their spa after a long day of hiking, very relaxing! The location was also very convenient - in a walking distance from the train station, restaurants, and shops. "

"We enjoyed 3 mights at the hotel and had a spacious superior double room. It opened onto a massive roof terrace. The hotel has a lovely family vibe and the staff was very firendly. 2 minute walk down to the train station made the hotel a convenient place to stay in. And thats what you pay for, the convenience of being so close to town. However i wouldn't say that the hotel is good value for money. It is quite expensive per night with basic facilities.
