Room was spacious and clean. Bathroom was larger and more modern than most we had on our European trip. View from the balcony and breakfast patio was incredible. This amazing property was the highlight of our vacation. Enjoying the breakfast buffet with a very large selection of foods surrounded by majestic mountains and being cared for by friendly staff was a wonderful retreat. Public transportation is great and hotel has shuttle service available.

The hotel was great, and the view was amazing. The staff were helpful, the pick up and drop off at check-in and checkout was so helpful to the train station. There is no AC but we luckily had cooler nights. Only down side is the walk down and back from the mainstrip is up 2 hills (takes about 15 mins each way). It is for sure scenic but the uphill walk back is a little tiring after a long day of activities. Beautiful views though!!!

The hotel was absolutely amazing! The views on top of the town of Grindelwald from the hotel were spectacular - mountain views galore! Breakfast café had windows overlooking the mountains also, and the food was varied and delicious. Our room was upgraded -larger, with a frig and view. The only downside was the hotel was above town, so the walk down was steep, and the way back seems impossibly steep!

Brilliant hotel

Great stay. Hotel is lovely as are the staff. The hotel was clean and quiet and in a great location. Views amazing. Would highly recommend and the food was delicious and so well presented. A must book hotel.

Wonderful Hotel

Amazing hotel in a great place. Friendly staff, magnificent room of ample size for two people with magical view of Grindelwald valley and the mountains. Convenient location outside of town but easily accessible by foot, bus or car. Would most definitely stay here again.

Hotel Kirchbuehl is a fantastic hotel to stay while visiting the Grindelwald and the tourist sites within Jungfraujoch region. The hotel provided a scrumptious breakfast and two excellent restaurants for dining. Will return in winter to fully utilise the ski in and out features of the the Hotel Kirchbuehl’s location.

Perfect Hotel

Great hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. The views are amazing and breakfast is very nice. I would highly recommend the place. They also offer a free shuttle to the station and back. However one needs to reserve that in advance. Highly recommended.

Magnificent mountain views. Although it is not close to the train station, everything is within walkable distance. (10 minutes walk to all facilities) Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is delicious with sweeping choices.

Excellent stay, we all loved it. Very good quality food, recommend reserving the Swiss restaurant. My only advice would be there needs to be fans as it can—and did—get very uncomfortably hot at night in summer. At the least, install screens so guests can keep doors/windows open without letting bugs in. But regardless, an excellent stay and will be back for sure.
