“This is the most relaxing lodge! I came for a weekend retreat and loved every minute. I was able sit in my own little plunge pool and watch the animals come to the water hole. The staff were all very friendly and inviting. I 100% recommend this place ”

This is not a true boutique hotel but more like a rental of a large 1 bedroom 2 story townhouse in a gated townhouse community on a hilltop. “There was a slight lack of attention to detail. There was some rubbish in the corridor and it was still there 3 days later. When I got a table in the restaurant I was put on a table with no serviettes or cutlery. In the end I had to take the ones from a nearby table. The buffet breakfast and evening meals were very reminiscent of an all inclusive resort. Also its location is a bit too far away from the town to be able to walk to the local restaurants ”

“We loved our stay at Mantobeni. The whole experience was very special and unique. Our tent was comfortable and atmospheric and the food excellent. We loved the drives each day and saw some incredible animals and birds. Special shout-out to Brilliant, our guide. He was very knowledge and kind.”
