"The hotel policy is to only clean rooms “lightly” after 3 days-lightly is an extreme understatement. We had to call for fresh towels. The hallways were in dire need of vacuuming. The staff was very unclear about when the swim up bar closed. It turns out to be 5pm but check in is 4pm so by the time you put your bags in your room and change into your suit, the swim up bar is closed. The swim up bar, when open, was very nice and the outdoor pool was nice. The restaurant staff was nice and the food was good. We had fried shrimp and chicken fried steak and key lime pie-all were good. The next day, we had churros which were awesome! We talked about whether we would come again and we probably would because of the location right on the beach and with a perfect view of starship launches at space ex. It was also near a couple of notable restos-Joe’s Oyster Bar and El Jefe for breakfast. Margaritaville is also within walking distance of the state park on the southernmost end of SPI. We did not like having to pay $50 for chaise and umbrella on the beach. We felt that should be included in our resort fee."

"Mi habitación estaba limpia ,incluyendo sábanas y toallas ,es un hotel viejo y poco atendido en su exterior principalmente, merece una pintura ,más mantenimiento en las escaleras y preocuparse por los sistemas contra incendio q no existen ,están las estaciones vacias y la del ultimo piso sin cristal ,,por lo demás nada q decir ,repito ,mi habitación estaba bien para el tipo de hotel q es."

"Don’t often have pure 5 star ratings but from the valet staff, to the bell hops, to the front desk, to the pool staff and the wait staff at the bar, each person treated us fantastic and truly made our trip a great one. Our 2nd time staying at this property and will never stay anywhere else on Clearwater Beach."
