"I had an overnight stay during Essence Fest. The location is great, in the heart of the French Quarter, 1 block from Bourbon. Light sleepers should probably choose a different hotel. Check in was easy, hotel was well maintained. It is an older property, but still well kept. No frills, just a comfortable, good location, place to stay. Bonus......you get a discount at Mr. Ed's, it was delicious. "

"Great stay!! Straight from the start til we had to leave. The cleanliness, atmosphere and layout was top notch! Dining options were excellent. We didn't get everyone's name but special shoutouts to Audra at the front desk, Marty(my boy) at the luggage desk, Nathan at Docks and John at Ocean Hai. Thank you to rest of the staff as well. Very professional and friendly!"
