Gunge, Awaji hotel rooms at the Kyukamura

Supreme Japanese hospitality. The amiable staff enjoyed every minute of my stay. It is a beautiful site to explore the area with fantastic nature and architecture around the hotel. Highly recommended.

New hotel right on the bay in northern Awaji. Rooms are wonderful - spacious with great shower & beds. Our room had a spectacular view! The lobby is very nice and welcoming. The staff speak reasonable English for those who do not speak Japanese. The beach at the hotel is nice and not crowded. The sand is pretty good but it gets a little rocky right at the edge in the water (not an issue at all). Very friendly and helpful staffs. They help us with shuttles, bus, luggage storages…etc. Excellent service. Food is great. The hotel decoration is very nice. Our stay was a rainy night so we didn’t able to enjoy the outdoors. If not, it will be great space to enjoy the outdoor also.

Very clean and modern hotel. No restaurants but convenience store and restaurants nearby.

The best experience hands down. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of Foreigners and were willing to go out of their way to assist. A special thank you to Yamada for a fantastic experience!

The most amazing experience.

Loved it all! Onsened 3 times during a one night stay. 2x indoors. One time outdoors! Yummy buffet breakfast. Traditional dinner was an experience! Highly recommend!

This was such a fun hotel! You could fish right on site and eat what you caught for dinner. The kaiseki was nice and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Really beautiful property on Awaji Island. Very charming and quaint, clean and peaceful. I think anyone can feel comfortable staying there.
