"The bathroom towel hanger was broken. And the TP Roll was almost empty. Rm 401 is a nice room but it could get noisy as it is next rto resteraunt. It is strategically located to the old city. Staff were very friendly."
"Nice place to stay closer to golden temple (10 mins walk). Very nice owner and staff. However, internet speed was slow and no hot water shower (if you really need one)."
"This stay is in a very good location in Amritsar. Unfortunately, the photos on the booking profile do not accurately reflect the stay, at least in my case. There was no window in the room, the bedding was perhaps not laundered very well, and the cleanliness left something to be desired. No water, no coffee/tea kettle. This said, the AC worked very well and overall the stay was comfortable enough."
"Very hard to locate, dirty and filthy surrounding. Staff was good, inside is OK, but no fridge and microwave.
Expedia must provide phone numbers of hotel to customers. I was frustrated to locate the hotel as phone no given by Expedia was not of the hotel. "
"overall it was just an OK stay. Can’t say that it was bad because you get what you pay for. But there’s definitely much better options around for the same price.
Also i think properties should share more photos of the surrounding area and be more detailed about the facilities and amenities.

"Good location. Room was an airless windowless box. Like all Indian hotels it was worn out and ingrained dirt. The Expedia photographs show a decent room with windows and space what I got was room 202 and my pal 402. Both windowless boxes. The catering was awful unless you want some ghastly green brown liquid curry for breakfast.DIY toast was the best on offer for Europeans."
"Very good location if going to golden temple only few minutes walk and you got everything on your door step. Hotel is good for the location and price ."

"Our stay at the Marriott has been by far the best while we have been in India. We arrived 3 hours before our check in time but as soon as our rooms were ready we were able to check in (2.5 hours early). The staff were friendly, helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The restaurant was great for food and drinks. We also utilized the gym and pool which were a great bonus. Other than doing the tourist attractions we came to see we didn’t need to leave the hotel as we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend Fairfield by Marriott. "
"This hotel is such a comfortable option super close to Darbar Sahib. Excellent location, very clean rooms, great AC, and working elevator. Very comfortable. Only issue we had was the shower leaked a bit but nothing major. "
"Great place to stay to visit Harmandir Sahib Golden Temple. It's right in the center of the action of Heritage Street right near the Maharaja Ranjit Singh statue and Jallianwalla Bagh Park. The soundproofing is excellent to get a good night's sleep, because Heritage St is extremely busy all day and almost all night. The room wasn't super clean and had exposed wiring in the bathroom, but for the price, it was fine. We had great hot water. The staff is excellent and listened to our requests and concerns. Keep in mind - it's located on a barricaded area for pedestrian traffic only, so taxis can only drop you off near the barricade so you'll have to walk a few yards to get to the hotel. Inside the lobby, there are 3-4 steps without a railing to get to the elevator/lift - which was tough for senior citizen grandmother."
"Amazing staff, accommodated our needs immediately. Check in and check out services were smooth. Breakfast option is really good and staff upstairs is helpful. Offered cleaning services daily. Tipping culture is aggressive, as a visitor we should not feel obligated to tip, nor should we be asked to tip more. "
"Worst hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. The staff was horrible the room was filthy, the towels were not washed, and when asked for new towel they took 2 hours. People were partying and running around all through the halls all hours of the night and when I asked to check out sooner and get a refund they said NO and would not refund if we cancelded the second night stay. Dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. No one knew what was going on and when we asked to speak with thd person in chage they couldn't even get through and the phone line did not work. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!"
