Rooms were dated, tv worked occasionally,safes did not work,bathroom shower mould on floor tiles. Room key did not work properly had to keep returning to reception to get there master key.

Ruthin Castle Hotel
It's was an experience we wanted, to stay in a castle. The Ruthin Castle has a ton of history. It's a bit run down but I guess that could be the charm.
