The Schumacher is a fantastic hotel, in a beautiful setting (the middle of a small, private park) . . . the staff was super friendly and always helpful . . . a perfect location for seeing the German Colony / downtown areas of Haifa . . . our stay at the Schumacher could not have been better!!

Lovely boutique hotel

Schumacher is a lovely boutique hotel. Though it is helpful for typical American traveler to know that the room is small and the toilet and shower are separated only by frosted glass walls. The accessories are very hip and modern but not much privacy if you are travelling with someone.

Best Cusomer Service in the world

We had an absolutely fantastic stay and would go as far as to say that it offered the best customer service levels of any hotel we've stayed in around the world. All of the team were extremely friendly, attentive and welcoming creating a truly relaxing urban oasis in a fabulous central location. Our room was stylish and modern with lovely bright windows and we loved the two rooftoops and great views of the Baha'i Gardens. We cannot recommend The Schumacher enough. It is truly special.

Nice boutique hotel well designed

Nice boutique hotel. Well and comfortable located next to the German colony and the port where the main restaurant and bar scene is. The rooms are small but well maintained, the hotel has a nice rooftop and complimentary coffee in tea in the lobby all day long. We enjoyed our stay! The welcoming and kindness of the receptionist (not sure if she is maybe even the manager) could be better. But we didn’t let that interfere our total experience.
