This place was so cute and the staff were awesome! Hotel is so full of history! This was very close to Sycamore Gap at Hadrians Wall which is why we chose it. Parking is a bit of a challenge but the lady gave us a great tip on what time to come back and we were able to get a spot right in front! ...

This is a classic quaint, village inn, excellent food, and very comfortable folksy rooms with loft beds. The proprietor and all the staff are super helpful and friendly. A perfect spot to hike directly to the best spots of Hadrians Wall.
