The staff were very welcoming and helpful in all aspects of my stay, and the single room I had was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great, the location was perfect, with bars, restaurants and public transport all in the immediate vicinity.

Great location but the hotel was very dated in the room I was in. Check in was kinda crappy service wise. There was a very odd smell in my room. Had to leave the patio door open all night as it was so bloody hot. Very loud area and not a lot of sound insulation so had 2 nights of intermittent sleep as kept getting woken up. Didn’t help that the patio door was open but even when closed it was still very loud, bed was not all that comfortable so overall not a great hotel

Great location great stay.

Family trip to Hamburg. Hotel is in a great location. Free parking after 8pm in front of hotel on the boulevard street. Other than that a parking structure I was told was 15min away. Room was great and breakfast as well.

We had a suite with a wonderful skyline view on the top floor of the hotel. The room was spacious, clean, and modern. Nice breakfast. Excellent location near the train station and walkable distance for most attractions of the city. Highly recommend booking a top floor suite at this hotel.

German Unity Day parkrun trip

The hotel was ideally placed for exploring the city. The room was on the 6th floor and was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was included in the rate and the vegan food choices were good. The Reception staff were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel was lovely and in a great location. It was very close to restaurants and shops. It was an older hotel so the room furnishings were older. The bathroom was remodeled. The breakfast and lounge area were nice. Breakfast offered a variety of items and was very good. If you enjoy a more traditional hotel , I would recommend it. The staff were very courteous and professional.

Great value

A delightful family-run hotel just 50 or so yards from the Stephanplatz Ubahn station. Comfortable and compact rooms (a little too compact perhaps) and an excellent breakfast. The desk staff are charming and helpful (except for one grumpy young man during the day) and the hotel is remarkable value for money. Congratulations.

Excellent value for money. My room was an older style single, but perfectly adequate for a 3 night stay. Good location, near Alster lakes (great for a stroll/run) and beautiful Planten un Blomen park. Rathaus about 1/2 mile. Breakfast and cleaning staff efficient and friendly. Poor WiFi. Laeiszhalle also within easy walking distance, where I attended a concert. Would use again.

I was doing the Ironman in Hamburg. The hotel was super clean and the staff were amazing however its opposite a casino and the rooms facing the casino are very loud with music. So you have to have the window shut. And there is no aircon so super hot.

Good hotel in the center city . Convenient and walkable to all major attractions. Did not like the check in process . They could not find my reservation for a while . Not pleasant . Rooms are nice and clean. Sofa had stains on it .

Plus side. Location. Clean and safe. Downside: dated rooms. Breakfast options limited. Rooms decent. Some road noise and the maid likes to start her work at 7am!! Very convenient though. Be careful, windows open wide and be careful with small children. Seems like it is being updated so will Improve.

This was a Gem of a hotel. Considering it is right in the heart of Hamburg in the city centre, it was really good value for money. It has a bar which is not advertised in its hotel's booklet , but its run by Esther who is an amazing character and who is very knowledgable in her field of work and drinks which is really really well priced . The breakfast staff ( say it as you see it) Ahhkilla, Hammett , Side, Raggie and Abassi ((who was such a lovely gent ) were friendly, funny, accommodating , all the things you want when your on holiday. My last staff member was MJ a deaf cleaner who I communicated with very well ( i dont do sign language ) but we both managed to get across to each other what was needed. The front desk staff were really friendly and the owner of the hotel was a great character and i loved her glasses !!! Hamburg was a beautiful place and im glad i went there and to that hotel. Spotlessly clean .... The room was basic but everything you need ( except a kettle) you can always buy a little travel one . Brilliant .
