Super close to main train station so easy to use public transport to see the city and port. Dont like key system to access rooms. The staff were really nice at breakfast, and there was some good choices but lacking in fresh fruit. No coffee in reception area or toilet on that level. We really missed having tea/coffee makers available in the rooms.

This hotel was really fantastic compared to one I booked nearby two years ago which was really nowhere as good as this one (Hotel Furst Bismark). The reception people were extremely helpful with suggestions for places to visit, making sure that I liked my room, especially the receptionist who fixed the broken safe in my room and also arranged for me to get a taxi on the day that I weas leaving. To me, these reception went over and above to make my stay a successful one - AAAAAAAAAA+++++++

The stay was affordable and the room clean; it was exactly what you’d expect for the price. The biggest drawback was the area rather than the hotel itself - there were a lot of drug addicts milling about in the street after dark, which made me nervous.

The breakfast was pretty good. It would be even better if they had fruits and some healthier food. But I am aware that this is too much to expect from a hotel at this price range. They did their best to serve me bread without glutein. The room was rather simple but it was clean and the view was awesome. I wouldn't call it luxurious, but If you are looking for a hotel with a reasonable price, right at the heart of Hamburg, you must put this one at the top of your list.
