โIt was a beach getaway stay. Close to the State park/ beach. Very nice way to end the day at the beach. Hotel has every needed amenity. Staff is friendly and informative about the area. โ
โWe arrived late at night and the staff were so very friendly and accommodating. We had a small issue in our room and the staff responded immediately and so graciously to resolve it. We have stayed here before and have always enjoyed our stay. โ
โAs always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. โ

"Breakfast" is weak coffee and orange or apple juice.โ

The room was a bit dated, but neat as a pin and absolutely no unpleasant smells - not just nonsmoking, but no cleaning chemical smells either. The fridge/freezer was clean and cold, the microwave also clean. Plenty of pillows on a comfortable bed. There were windows front and...
โThis hotel is modern and provides as close to a full breakfast as you could get under the heading of "continental". The room was spacious and clean. My one complain was the overall design of the building. First, like us, everyone had to drive around both sides of the building to find the office which is in the back. Signage would have been nice. Second, the halls are like a maze. Once we figured it out - fine, but it took a while, especially since the parking is not close to the elevator to...
