The hot water kettle was very dusty and dirty. No amenities (such as dental kit, shaving kit, even a hair comb - which are the basics) in the bathroom. Staff were robotic with no willingness to reach out and help or even suggest local places.

The property and staff were decent overall, and I would have rated the entire experience much higher if it weren't for an unpleasant incident during breakfast. I sat in the only available spot but was asked to move by an employee because a family of four had just arrived. This left me with nowhere to sit and eat comfortably. That being said, it is still a good budget option, and you really can't beat the location for the price. On the positive side, the staff at the front desk speak English fluently, which was a huge plus. However, I would strongly recommend skipping the breakfast package and heading to the nearby shopping district for your morning meals instead. I would also suggest that management provide the staff with a few lessons on basic hospitality—starting with not glaring so rudely at guests when they walk into the lobby.

Though there were a lot of homeless in the vicinity that's probably normal for properties so near to a main railway station. Very helpful and friendly staff and very close to the main food street on that side of the track and 5 mins from the old town and its food mkt over the line.

Good, great breakfast

Spacious room with everything. The rooms start to be a bit worn out, the fitness room is not 100% clean, these are the only small remark, for all the rest it was really a great stay, breakfast is 5-stars level.

The hotel was nice. A little quirky in its design but it’s refreshing for something a little different. Very close to the train station, and the shopping district is on the other side.

This hotel was near the train station, and lots of restaurants. I get the feeling they don't get a lot of english speakers, but we figured it out. The hotel was comfortable, clean, and well decorated. Because the area is near the bus and trains, there are a few homeless out on the streets, but that isn't the hotel's fault, just something to be aware of.

This hotel is so run down that I felt repulsed. I cannot recommend at all, it is a waste of money. I do want to say that the breakfast was great and the breakfast staff was very friendly and did a very good job. I can’t believe that Novotel is offering rooms that look this ugly with dirty seats, stained carpets and broken varnishes everywhere. Just AWFULL!

Stop between Poland and Uk

Because we travelling with 2 little boys big plus was microwave so we can warmed milk for boys and kettle. Shops just behind the corner fast food as well. Big comfy room. Recommending.
