"Stayed here for 1 night from May 5-6. Honestly the view from the room and the location were the redeeming qualitie of this hotel. The rooms are EXTREMELY dated. While the room was clean, because of wear n tear it made the room look uncleaned. From stains in the carpets, chips on the dated furniture and the bath tub that is waay to high and overused. The staff were friendly and helpful, we accidently locked ourself out of our safe and they immediately sent someone up to fix.
Owners need to reinvest and update the rooms for the prices they are charging per night.
Unfortunately because of this I would not stay here again"
"The hotel is in a good location, convenient to access the Underground or just walk to many places in London. The double room is not big, but worked for two people. The hotel was busy, and getting space in the lifts could be a minor challenge.
While I understand a policy of only changing linens every four days, and providing clean towels upon request, this is where the hotel failed to meet basic expectations. We stayed nine nights, and the linens were only changed after the eighth night. By that time, we had no expectations of any change of linens.
The garbage was never picked up, despite having made multiple requests at the front desk. We resorted to leaving a garbage can outside of the room in the morning, and when we returned in the evening, the empty can was left outside the door.
We were able to get toilet paper and fresh towels upon request, so the only major negative was the failure to clean the room.
I don't know if you need to request a remote for the television, but there wasn't one in the room, and we didn't need to use the TV."
"Great location and staff. Breakfast was excellent. The show was fun. No mini fridge. ;( lighting in bathrooms for make up doesn’t exist. The staff after my third stay are on first name bases are just great. With advise for travel. Restaurants and things to do. "
"Overall the stay was good. I do love this hotel and its fabulous location. But on this instance 2 out of the 3 elevators were broken so it took FOREVER to get up or down. And when I pulled out the pull out couch to sleep there were all these fly bugs in it. There was also so work being done for a leak on my floor (9) so it smelled horrible like rotten carpet and stinky water. I had been here before so I know what a wonderful hotel this normally is. Just very unfortunate"
