“A fabulous place in which to stay. Bags of historic character with numerous areas in which to lounge, eat and drink- as well as outside. Staff were helpful and very friendly and the dining menu looked amazing (though we didn't eat on this occasion). The bedroom was comfortable and cosy. Breakfast was inventive with smashed avocado, smoked salmon and choice of eggs as well as two versions of a full breakfast. 'Continental' was an alternative. The Old Town of Harlow looked as though it would merit...

“Close to Stansted airport. Right before the highway is a gas station, so that you can fill the tank before returning a rental car.”

“Lovely room, helpful staff. Has air conditioning which was appreciated. Word of warning, room we stayed in was on top floor. There are lots of stairs, so if mobility is an issue be aware when booking there is no lift. Well placed for transport links and access to central London. No breakfast but plenty of local places to eat. Would happily stay again.”

“This hotel is very good with excellent amenities. The issues that we had to come to terms were: the room we stayed in with window facing the passage way and noises from the people seating outside; the parking spaces were very tight and limited.”
