“Great for a one or two night stay - parking options are available but you have to park a few blocks away if there is none close by. Not the most walkable area, but there are restaurants and grocery stores if needed. The staff and service were very accommodating! Easy check-in, free and well-supplied breakfast, coffee and water available 24/7. No elevator so if you have a room upstairs it can be a little annoying but worth it as the rooms were kept very clean and were spacious. Would stay again.”

“Lovely historic house just as l had hoped...ninteenth-century atnosphere, lovely well kept old wood floors..Linda was right there to greet me even though my time of arrival was delayed a little at Portland bus station... perfect Maine alternative to generic bland hotel chains. Very glad to have landed here after long trip north,!”
