“I wouldn't stay again. I rarely leave reviews up to this point but was left feeling like this 'apartment' is a room in a multi occupancy house and it felt a bit.....what's the right word......DHSS ish. I didn't use the communal kitchen as someone in there was, well a bit weird, looking disturbed. I just think I was looking for cheap and cheerful. It was cheap. ”

“Excellent communication from host & easy check in with key lock. Room was spacious & comfortable for our family of 4. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. ”

“Absolutely beautiful cottage full of essentials for our stay. The whole setting is stunning with the gardens and surrounding areas. Plenty of local pubs and restaurants close by for food as well as supermarkets to grab snacks for the house. We went to Gulliver’s kingdom 20 mins away and Alton towers 1 hour away across our 2 days stay which were both easily accessible. There is a wide range of sizes of cottage and homes to choose from all of which looked amazing. ”

“It was comfortable, quiet and conveniently located for exploring the area. Comfortable beds, everything one needed in the kitchen, big bathroom and large dining/sitting room. Wasn't keen on open plan bedrooms upstairs, where one could see and hear everything that was said and done in the other bedroom.”

“The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The kitchen was clean and had everything you needed. I would add some baking trays and oven gloves but apart from that it was great! The bedroom was clean and tidy. The windows had all been opened beforehand to air out the house. Towels were provided for each person which was handy as my girls forgot theirs. The beds were quite hard but...
