“Enjoyed our stay at the plough. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was excellent.
Room was a little small but well appointed, with tea making facilities, iron and ironing board, heater/ fan and hair drier.
Bed comfortable.

“I was excited to be staying at the hotel, but unfortunately I left deflated. Room was okay but definitely could hear every single thing from the room next door. The floorboards were creaky. The room was outdated, it had a charm to it but it really didn't feel like they took care of it.
Breakfast was really good, staff were friendly.”
“Had a slow drain on the shower, due to the way the shower isn’t a tray this meant water flooded the rest of the bathroom. Reported to be reception and this wasn’t fixed. Had to use a towel wedged against the shower door and then turn the water down.
Asked for more milk sachets (two for a family room with 4 isn’t enough) at reception and got directed to the bar, had a huge wait whilst they faffed around serving just one person - god help anyone if ordering a round then!
