"Great stay. Beth was really helpful and made sure our stay was enjoyable. Would book here again no question. The rooms are spacious and breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately the hotel wasn’t serving food in the evenings due to the coronavirus but the food from both the Hibernia pub and wavertree cafe was fantastic. "

"The service was great, though my suggestion is that it is difficult to pair with an extended stay when you booked a short stay. The long-stay owners were extremely loud on the last day. Overall, a three-star from me, just because the service was good."

"A very well situated hotel, modern inside an old building. A nice beer garden. Pleasant and helpful staff. The restaurant was good and there are other nice eating places nearby. The bar closes at 10 which means it is quiet if you gov o bed early but there are nearby pubs ifvyou don’t want to b
Vegan breakfast could have been a bit more exciting and it would be good if oat or soya milk plus sachets of flora (or similar) were available on the breakfast buffet. Good to have EV charging on site but they didn’t all work properly and the payment system was a bit fiddly.
A really nice visit and I’d definitely stay again."
"We love this hotel having stayed twice in the last two years. This hotel is a very quiet and tranquil place, full of character. Set in beautiful surroundings, and only minutes from the town centre and a short drive to an amazing beach. The rooms are immaculate, with a luxury feel to everything. Bedrooms and bathrooms are really spacious, the mini fridge means you can have proper milk which they provide, to make proper brews and have nespresso machines for decent coffee. The honesty bar works well and didnt seem extortionate for the convenience. The staff serving the continental breakfast and cleaning the hotel, are so helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. We opted for a cooked breakfast at the sister hotel, a five minute drive away, (we have also stayed at this hotel, which is also stunning but modern hotel). The breakfast was fabulous and the best coffee we found in the area. The staff here are also amazing, nothing is too much trouble, both hotels are well worth paying the extra for! Great place for nature lovers, we saw a fox, badger, hare within a few metres of us, and numerous birds when walking in the adjoining meadow. Check in at the sister hotel is easy, the staffed reception desk check you in and provide a map of how to get to the priory, and a floor plan of the priory so you know exactly where you are going. The keys they give you, opens the front door and your room, so no hassle getting in. Ample parking for the number of rooms, with 2 ev chargers."
"Excellent property, really friendly staff. Fantastic views. Found a few issues like the lights didn't work then we managed to get them working. Glass in bathroom over looked the main house and could be seen through (needs top of window screening) stuck towel over it. One one tea spoon at the breakfast table. Two chairs needed to watch TV only one provided.
Needed more flowers and generally prettying up. Could be so much nicer there."
"Was extremely happy with our stay. Was very clean and quiet. Staff were very friendly. Was pleasantly surprised with how it was laid out inside. I would highly recommend this castle to stay"
"We had a very comfortable room, the breakfast was great, especially with the view of the sea and sky. Overall, we had everything we needed for a very pleasant nights stay. The location is amazing."
