“I stayed here for 6days. The stay was perfect. I reserved the partial ocean view room and the view was stunning. We had great morning and night every day. The location was also great, it is located near downtown and many great restaurants. The room was spacious. Everything was great :) I highly recommend and I will go next time :)”
“숙소는 다소 오래되었지만, 주방이 있어서 요리를 직접 해먹을 수 있습니다. 방이 꽤 넓습니다. 무엇보다 주변 환경이 너무 예쁩니다. 리드 베이 비치공원, 와이호누 연못(일본정원)까지 걸어갈 수 있어서 아침 산책이 행복했습니다. 가성비가 굉장히 좋은 호텔이고 다음에 힐로를 방문한다면 또 머물 예정입니다. 다만 시설은 좀 낡아서 창문을 조절할 수는 없었습니다.”
“The front desk staff were friendly, and I appreciated that the hotel was eco-friendly.
Glass bottles were provided in the room so you have to get water from the lobby, and the shower amenities were environmentally conscious, minimizing plastic use.
However, there was one major issue. Since the hotel is within 10 minutes of the airport, the loud noise from planes taking off made it difficult to sleep. I recommend flying in and out of Kona Airport instead of Hilo Airport.”
“What a gem in Kona! My wife and I were evaluating our options between a large hotel or the Kona Tikki and we decided to stay at the Tikki. You get a great ocean front view that’s unbeatable and great value for money compared to larger hotels and what they charge for an “ocean view”.
There are no TV’s or Air Conditioning but it was just fine. There’s plenty of ocean breeze to keep you cool and the lack of tv is nice, it allows you to focus on the trip, your spouse/travel partner.

However, the cleanliness of the room varied greatly depending on the staff in charge. In some cases, the bathroom was not properly cleaned, towels were not replenished, or the bed was left unmade. This is an area that definitely needs improvement.”
“하와이 전통 주택 하나에 여러개의 룸이 있고 거실과 주방을 쉐어하는 비엔비였어요. 저희 룸 안에는 별도의 작은 주방과 샤워 가능한 화장실이 있었구요.
체크인이 따로 없고 그냥 자기 이름 써진 방으로 들어가시면 됩니다 ㅋ 숙소는 찾았는데 들어가도 되는건지 몰라 한참 헤매다가 주인과 통화하니 그냥 니 이름 써진 방으로 가라고 ㅋㅋ 참 재미있는 곳이었어요. 멋진 다이닝룸에서 제공된 다음날 조식은 팬케익과 약간의 과일이었는데 정말 맛있었구요 부엌에 우유랑 쥬스 씨리얼 과자 팝콘 같은것들 자유롭게 먹을수 있어서 아이들이 좋아했어요. 룸은 4개정도 있는것 같았는데 저희 갔을때는 두팀밖에 없어서 더 여유있어 좋았어요.
예상치 못한 하와이 주택에서의 하루. 재밌고 즐거운 경험이었습니다. 화산공원에서 차로 10분 정도 거리 화산빌리지에서 1박 추천합니다.”
“We had a little hiccup with the email providing the check-in info, but once we called it was quickly resolved. The room has been redecorated nicely, with a super comfy bed and cold A/C. Right next to the farmers market, and a short walk to downtown Hilo.
Would definitely stay again.”
“호텔만 이용하다가 첫 B&B였는데 정말 내집같이 편했어요. 다만 옆방 소음이 다 들리긴 했지만 귀마개 하고 꿀잠 잤네요.
주변도 너무 아름답고 대즐(고양이), 헤나, 마이클.. 너무 다 좋았어요.
뷰도 예술이고 아침에 특히 과일 & 커피를 원래 주로 먹는데 딱 저에게 맞는 아침이었구요. 다음에도 여기로 가고싶네요~”

"When I checked in, two employees at the front desk were terrible. They were very rude and even didn't let us know the locations of facilities. But the free parking and location were good! "
