The owner clearly spends time and effort on the grounds however, we were disappointed by the lack of privacy in our room, it being directly adjacent to the breakfast room with all the accompanying intrusive noise.We were warned the previous evening by the proprietor that this was likely altho we did not realise it would be quite so loud. "John and Christine are perfect hosts. They have created a lovely set of rooms complemented by a fabulous breakfast and evening meals that are delicious, should you choose to eat at the lodge. Our stay was relaxing and we felt well cared for in every way."

"The area is safe and quiet, however parking seems a bit inconvenient without complimentary parking after 8am although hotel check out is at 10am. There’s a countdown nearby for groceries, but not much shopping available. "
