"My room was next to the kitchen, and there was always someone cooking — even in the middle of the night. The radiator in the room was broken, and the landlord hadn’t mentioned it beforehand. When we called him, he said there was a small heater, but it made a loud blowing noise that made it impossible to sleep. In the end, we had no choice but to turn it off and endure the cold and the noise from the kitchen. It was a terrible experience."
