“This holiday home is the most perfect myself and partner have booked. The decor is absolutely amazing and a lot of thought had been put into it by the owners. It is impossible to pick any faults. The home was clean and high standard and quality of equipment and furnishings. Studying the ‘quirky’ decor was an enjoyable time spent. Simon and Lynne were so friendly without being intrusive. The advert does not do this place justice, it was above and beyond our expectations and we shall be back ”

“Fantastic little apartment in a brilliant location. Apartment had everything you needed and more for a weekend away. We had apartment 5 right at the very top, so no noise. Theres 2 long stay car parks nearby at £6 for 24 hours.Only complaint would be the key code to get in. I really struggled with it, especially after a few drinks 😉”

“Excellent accommodation. Hosts went above and beyond for us. Lovely welcome pack on arrival. Lovely homely cottage and beautiful views. Ideal location to visit Dalby Forest, York, Whitby, Scarborough etc. Locals were all so kind and helpful too. Would highly recommend.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here, the property was well equipped with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. I do think the property does need updating a little and it would have been nice if the hot tub had been filled on arrival, the hot tub also needs a cover as unless you like cold feb rain wouldn’t have been enjoyable. ”

“Very well presented little cottage. There are a few different cottages here, we stayed in Valencourt. Quality furnishings and fittings, was very comfortable and cosy for a family of 4. Only frustration was the showers. Very difficult to get the right temp for the kids. (I think its to do with the hot water pressure) Even so it didn't spoil our stay, lovely touch with welcome pack in the kitchen, tea, sugar, milk, bread, butter, fresh orange juice and biscuits. “Wonderful stay with my friend at our 2 dogs, great facilities if you have dogs and very secure for them. It is worth noting that you can not pull your car directly up to the hut to unpack and pack, but it is only a very short walk. Lots of nice walks and secure places for dogs to have a run off the lead. Wildlife in the area is second to non. We walked into Thirsk from the huts and had a lovely lunch and such a pretty town. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning. ”

“Had an amazing stay at Whorlton Lodge. Very spacious and very clean was a home from home. We will definitely be returning in the summer. The views were beautiful from the front windows. The enclosed gardens was amazing for our dog milo who had a lovely time playing in the garden and exploring. Keith was lovely and so helpful!”
