Nice apartment, but the service was horrible

The apartment was nice, but it was a bit run down and in terms of kitchen wear a lot was lacking with i. e. only 3 forks, 2 cups, 2 spoons etc. The freezer had not been defrosted for years and the dishwasher did not work. During our whome stay, the wifi did not work and despite several messages to the so-called service office, nothing was done about it, and the communication just stopped. Very disappointing!

Never again 2ndHomes

We were uncomfortable with the stay and will not come back to any of 2ndhomes properties again. Very inefficient instruction throughout and unhelpful customer support. The list starts with: an inconvenient key pick-up location (30 min walk from the apartment), a broken toilet seat, dead flowers in the apartment on arrival, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, and lots of ants in the kitchen. And the sauna. The sauna was one of the reasons we booked this place, but it did not work. First, no instruction was given even though it was an involved process to turn on- including the location of the Sauna control panel! After requesting the Sauna instructions, we followed it- but one button did not work and the sauna did not turn on. We emailed to customer support but the reply was "it should work normally". Next day my local friend in Helsinki came and checked, but it still did not work. I wrote another email to the support, and the reply was "It should work because no one has complained in the past." We gave up dealing with helpless customer support and it led me no choice but to leave a negative review. Hope this helps to save you trouble and frustration!
