“the staff were friendly, breakfast was good. Unfortunately, the one factor that helped us choose this hotel was the pool. So disappointing. The pool water was very cloudy. There were objects on the pool floor. Both are signs of a poorly maintained pool. We did not feel comfortable or safe using it.”

“The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help.”

“This property probably quite nice at one time. The potential is huge. It seems that whoever owns the place is happy allowing it to fall into disrepair and ruin. I read some of the diary entries in our room and it seems that a lady named Lisa was the driving force making this place wonderful but with the end of 2025 the downward trend began. The Lakelyn Lodge in Lakeville PA is a newly renovated hotel with a fabulous eye to detail and with great finishing touches. “Room 107 was small and out dated, smelled musty, stains on the walls,mold on the shower curtain, sink was held up by a table leg, bed was so uncomfortable and only had 2 flat pillows for a queen size bed and under the bed had crumbs and dirt that was not cleaned from prior guest was just covered by the comforter. Room was overpriced and I would NEVER stay there again!! ”
