“Let me,start by saying all the staff were absilutely brilliant and friendly. Hitel gowever seems to be in a state or ill repair. Paint falling off walls and ceilings. Curtainscthat didn't close fully. Heating was never on and very cold in am. Carpets filthy. Door to my room was in very bad state. Just think whoever owns this needs to get his finger out and invest in the property and staff. Not good.”

“Shared kitchen area was clean and tidy with the Lidl store nearby cooking via microwave was easy and straightforward. The bedroom with en suite was clean also and very spacious with a very comfortable armchair and a comfortable bed also. Instructions on how to get to the premises were perfect and accurate, even key codes worked with no issues.”

“Very disappointing. I paid £98 for a very basic twin room for 1 night. Only 1 bed was made up and room was clean but very dated, and the property and grounds have seen better days and are overall quite scruffy. No TV in room but was told I could watch TV downstairs if I wanted to. The shower didn't work properly - either scalding hot or dribbled out cold water. Sink took ages to drain, noisy radiator. “A beautiful guest house in a fantastic location. I received a very warm welcome, and my room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall stay offered great value for money. Highly recommended!”
