"Great hotel, good location. Unfortunately the restaurant was under renos when we were there, so could not use it. However their breakfast was excellent!"

"Nice position in ancient building recently refurbished with modern design. Nice large room. Great shower. Good breakfast. Friendly helpful staff. Could do with Kettle in rooms for hot water for cup of tea. Needs to be boiling water not warm. Don’t use Google maps to find hotel - completely useless. Don’t rely on taxis hotel uses. Arrived 13 minutes late for a 4 minute ride, didn’t know where he was taking me then drove around the houses to bump the price up. "

"Clean, very central and really friendly staff. Everything was very spacious and I enjoyed being at the premise. However, I do have to say that the outside noise carried through, at least when facing the front of the building. So if you're a light sleeper I'd suggest asking for a room facing inwards."
