Top Hoarwithy Hotel Reviews

Bells Hotel and Country Club

10/10 Excellent

"I was in a single room, basic but clean. The hotel does need a refresh, and that is planned for next year. There is a gym guests can use, and spa treatments are also available (payable) in the Serenity Suite, a separate business on site. Staff were welcoming and very helpful."

The Green Man

10/10 Excellent

"I hadn't been back to the Green Man for 35 years and was so happy to see it had the same traits still, of a great Herefordshire country pub. We stayed 2 nights and the service provided by all of the staff was brilliant and big shout goes out to everyone, but especially Jen who checked us in, and showed us to our room, and Poppy who served us in the restaurant. The room was very nicely appointed, clean and quiet and we can thoroughly recommend the Green Man for a stay while exploring Hereford or the wider are. Thankyou All at the Green Man."

Great Malvern Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was alast minute booking that didn't disappoint. Parking is cosy! But there is additional parking adjacent to the hotel behind b&m. Check in eas swift and easy. Receptionist was helpful and pleasant.room was lovely, spacious and quiet despite being on busy road. Location is great for shops, pubs and general area.there is an online bar but we didn't use as we were already out all evening. Easy out of hours access. Would stay here again"

Royal Hotel Ross On Wye by Greene King Inns

10/10 Excellent

"We enjoyed our stay at The Royal. A central location in Ross-on-Wye meant an easy walk to shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs so left the car in the car park. The parking area is quite tight if you have a large car. Our room was clean, comfortable and warm. A bit of noise could be heard from the bar below but it didn't stop me having a wonderful night's sleep. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. We had a dinner and a breakfast both of which were excellent value. A bit of background music in the restaurant would have been nice. Overall an excellent hotel to use as a base to explore the lovely Wye Valley and surrounding area."

The Cottage in the Wood

8/10 Good

"Arrived at 15:10, couldn't get a coffee while waiting for room which wasn't meant to be ready until 15:30. We were able to get a drink from the bar so not all bad. The access road is narrow and steep with a few passing places, this does mean the hotel is a long way from the road so very peacefully. The restaurant has a very limited menu ,4 mains and 4 starters plus one special. The staff were very good, attentive and helpful. The accommodation was o.k. nothing outstanding. We have stayed in Malvern many times, this was our first time at the cottage in the wood, it is the most expensive option but it is not the he best Malvern hotel I have stayed in, I wouldn't avoid it but it isn't going to be my first choice either."
