"The room was small. The train was running all day, and the room’s windows weren't good enough to block the sound. Small tv hanged from the ceiling. The reception was terrible. The air unit is a two-fans system, which probably moves so much dust inside. I shut it off. The bed was squeezing every time I turned around. The sheets and pillow cases were old. There was a stain on one of the pillows. The towels were thin and worn out. And the door keypad is undoubtedly insane. For the price, I will never go there."

"Employee at front desk , No hello or welcome smile when arrives. Was a bit rude …. ! Very noisy from the freeway and very loud neighbors watching loud tv …!But overall everything in the hotel room was ok . When checked out another employee was there and she was nicer and says bye and thanks us ."

"Easy parking and no issues with security. The room I got is a double queen suite. One bed in a separate room and the other bed is right next to the door and when you open the blinds/curtain, its right next to the laundry room or some type of storage. Not a very pleasant view, you have to keep the curtains closed. I picked this location since theyre pet friendly (no pet fees). But other than that, the room is pretty clean. You can smell the bleach when they clean the room."

"The property is currently under renovations however it is safe and you appreciate that they are taking care of the building and you can still enjoy the beautiful common areas and the beach is right across the street to walk too so it doesn’t get any better than that. We enjoyed our stay very much, check in was a little delayed but not a big deal. "

"We stayed right across from the beach, which was fantastic. Lots of fit people here in Carlsbad also visited Delmar, which isn’t too far away. The town is extremely killing and the people are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again. Took advantage of the outdoor fire pit with morning, coffee, and evening wind down. Price was reasonable for April."

"For an overnight stay I would recommend the Hyland Inn Near Legoland. It’s quiet and near the highway."
