The room is clean but worn. The staff is friendly and helpful. It provides self-serve laundry and microwave in the common area which can be very useful. The location is very convenient - steps to subway, buses and even the bus to airport, lots of eateries and shops around. I really enjoy a room with balcony once, only realized this time that October was still too warm to be on the balcony.

I spent 4 nights here and I had a wonderful stay. The staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The lite breakfast they provide free of charge was a nice touch. A coffee with an apple and a couple of muffins and rolls. It's very close the the Chai Wan MTR. Considering alot of budget hostels/hotel in Hong Kong have dubious reviews, this Hostel really stands out. It is a long way out of the centre of things, but Juno on the MTR and in 30 mins your in the centre

Staff are friendly and helpful. Security very good as it is not accessible from the ground level and there is a security guard sitting at the access point to the MTR footbridge to prescreen people heading to the building. Morning complimentary coffee with fruit and bun/biscuits is good for enjoyment back to the room. The lawn at 12th floor is million dollar feature in Hong Kong. Since building is about 20 years old, a lot of finishes need overhaul renovation. Central air conditioning is good and quiet as comparing with some other hotels. Water flow is excellent in the wash basin and good at shower. It feels like home when staying in Y Loft. Not expensive but fit for the purpose.

The cost of the room is excellent among comparable hotels in HK. The staffs were friendly and they don't offer other fancy stuff other than simple muffins and coffee for breakfast. Their rooms are spacious and they are located within minutes walking distance to the subway system which can take you to anywhere in HK in good time.

The location is excellent, and the room space is plenty—very good stay. However, the laundry service is a bit difficult to navigate, with lots of steps to follow. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to others.
