"Excellent stay with friendly and helpful staff and appreciated the hotel cleanliness and amenities.
However, I choose this hotel as it advertised shuttle service. As an American where many hotels include a shuttle service, we were dismayed to find the shuttle was actually an outside service that charged 7 pounds per ride per person to the airport and it took almost an hour. I would clarify that on their advertising."
"Check-in was pleasant enough and the room was good (although the TV reception was abysmal).
The major problem was not toilet paper was provided (and I subsequently discovered that the next room had the exact same problem). Had I been a lone traveller, it could have been a very embarrassing situation!
But no apology from the reception staff - just a perfunctory "I will get you one".
And no "how was your stay?" during check-out in the morning."
"If you accept that it’s an airport hotel and therefore a conveyor belt of people then it’s fine (if expensive) for its convenience to T5. Check in usually involves a queue, the bedrooms need a general update and the in room tech is antiquated (only miracast for the TVs - no plug sockets next to the bed let alone usb’s - touch button light switches broken etc). Feels a bit of a time warp really and could do with a refurb."
"Good nights stay, rooms are comfortable and fresh.
Breakfast was great, however evening meal was ok, but a little below par unfortunately.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Thanks"
"The property once looked beautiful, but now looks sad. The outside has signs of neglect. The common areas are better than the bedrooms, but still show signs of needing improvement.
Our room was uninspiring and the bathroom clean, but tiles and ceiling in shower mouldy. The toilet seat was stained!
Breakfast was ok with a small selection of pastries, cereals, juice and cooked items. But tinned mixed fruit and plastic bread not good!
We stay in hotels a lot, but this one would not be recommended by us."
