A wonderful hotel stay. The hotel is in a very convenient location, the staff was very friendly and professional, and the bed was quite comfortable. I would definitely stay here again the next time I am in this area. Highly recommended.

Basic but comfortable. A bit soulless but excellent value for money. I will definitely stay here again. One remark: although the hotel is sometimes advertised as “hotel-restaurant” it is not possible to have dinner here. The restaurant serves only breakfast (not included).

Das Zimmer und das Bad waren top gepflegt und sauber. Das Bett war sehr gemütlich, und es gab einen Fernseher mit allen gängigen Sendern. Auch kostenloses WLAN wurde angeboten. Der Zimmerschlüssel wurde im Safe am Eingang für mich hinterlegt, weil ich erst spät abends anreiste. Die Kommunikation lief über WhatsApp und war sehr freundlich. Die Lage auf dem Umwelt-Campus im Hoppstädten-Weiersbacher Stadtteil Neubrücke (Nahe), einer Außenstelle der Hochschule Trier, ist perfekt. Angrenzend beginnt bereits der Naturpark Saar-Hunsrück. Vor der Eingangstür ist eine Bushaltestelle, von wo aus man sowohl in die Kreisstadt Birkenfeld als auch nach Hermeskeil und nach Idar-Oberstein kommt. Auch nach Hoppstädten, Weiersbach, Heimbach und Baumholder kommt man schnell per Bus, und vom Bahnhof Neubrücke (Nahe) aus geht es mit dem Regionalexpress sowohl nach Saarbrücken als auch nach Bad Kreuznach, Mainz und Frankfurt am Main. Ich hatte eine gute Zeit und bin sehr zufrieden. Ich komme gerne wieder ins Hotel Vicinity.

Die Zimmer sind ausreichend groß, die Betten und das Bettzeug sorgen für guten Schlaf. Die Dusche ist klasse. Check-In über die Schlüsselbox hat gut geklappt, leider hatten wir einen Anmeldezettel einer fremden Person drin (und er wohl unsere). An der Rezeption gab es dafür nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung, nur ein „Ich drucke Ihnen das nochmal aus.“ Das Frühstück für EUR 10,50 pro Person war okay.
