Once inside the property we were not disappointed. Spotlessly clean and the welcome book included all the details we needed, not only about the accommodation but also suggestions for restaurants and bars all within walking distance. “The host never responded to any communications. I tried calling, SMS, email and hotel.com chat. The agent also tried to contact them unsuccessfully. I had to wait until 4pm on the day of arrival before the agent agreed to re-book. After that I then had to wait for hotels.com to respond. Gave up and asked for a refund. These people will leave you oit of pocket, on the street, in the dark. Dangerous and unethical practice especially for lone female travellers.”
