"Very disappointing stay. The air conditioning was not working, the room was uncomfortable, and the property did not meet the standards advertised. For the price paid, we expected much better. We would not recommend this hotel."

"This 15 century hotel/restaurant is wonderfully renovated. Restaurant is closed on our date of arrival, and front desk older gentleman used Google Translate and send us to a Mich. recommended restaurant in town of Haro only 12 min away and dinner experience turn out great. Bkft from 9-10 am was excellent even w fresh squeezed orange juice. "

"It was excellent location and staff and food all amazing. It’s right in the centre of the fascinating town Santo Domingo de La Calzada. Love paradors and this one did not disappoint. The food was fab I’d definitely recommend half board. The only negative is that it was quite difficult to locate even with the instructions sent from the hotel. A friendly local had to help us by by getting in the car and telling us where to go."
