A comfortable and clean stay at the Horsham Holiday Park, with a short drive into the town centre to the Exchange Hotel for dinner. The Park took a little finding, as we were approaching from the South Australian side of town, though it would be a lot easier to locate coming from the Melbourne side. But eventually found it.

Thanks roger for your review I'm glad you enjoyed your stay :-) Hope to see you another time. When coming form Adelaide just follow signs to Melbourne so you don't get lost in town.
Really nice little cabin we stayed in over Christmas. Had all the things we needed. Not too far to drive into town if we wanted to go shopping and sightseeing.
The only thing is somehow the mozzies kept getting in and biting us.

Unit 20 we had is off its support mounts with the property lying on an angle. The internal doors had to be wedged to stop them rolling shut on their own. A most uncomfortable stay. Also the front steps to the unit were dangerous. I noted damage to the front garden. This unit been hit by a heavy vehicle ?? I would have reported all this to reception but it was shut when we left at 9am. Probably won't stay here again.

Hi MichaelMy apologies you didnt enjoy your stay!i will take a look at cabin no 20 the ground does move alot in horsham so every couple of years we do have to get the cabins jacked up and re levelled. I dont think the unit itself had been hit by a heavy vehicle but the new garden beds we put in out the front had certainly been run over but a car/ute turning before clearing them. also my apologies i had a 9am hospital appointment i had to close reception to attend
Convenient position, easy driving access to town. Pleasant, friendly staff. Could have done with better entrance lighting, hard to see after coming back from Horsham in dark.

Cabins were fine but the caravan sites need a little more protection from the weather. quite barren.

Thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Only negatives were the bed was soft and the jumping pillow didnt have a shade cloth over it. So we couldnt enjoy it due to the weather

Hi Krystal im glad you enjoyed your stay! We have put new matrreses on these beds only about 2 months ago we we went for king coil executive pillow top supreme which sounded so fancy haha perhaps we shouldn't have picked top of the range and picked something in the middle which would have been firmer. we are looking into getting a shade sail over the pillow
A warm welcome on arrival. Comfortable cabin and comfortable sleep with air-conditioned main room . A tad noisy and we slept through. Older style decor yet very good.
Awesome pool to swim in on a 38°day.
Location perfect to be able to stay on our journey. Thank you.
Our first stop on our Melbourne to Adelaide trip. This caravan park is a few kms outside Horsham, so you definitely need transport. We stayed in an onsite cabin, which had everything we needed. Pool looked like it had been closed for some time, and the games room was basic and required money for everything. Trucks along the highway all night; may be a problem for light sleepers - lots of trucks on this route seemed to be a noise problem for the entire town. I would recommend skipping Horsham altogether unless you really need to stay here. We did eat dinner at the last pub on the way to Adelaide; great meals

Thanks for your review :-)
Our toddler pool has been closed for a few weeks dur to a leak which we are trying to find but our main pool has been up and running until we had to close it due to covid restrictions.
and we have our local member for parliament trying to some something about the trucks and air brakes out the front of the park so watch this space.
Horsham is a great half way stop over next time i suggest you ask for a cabin further off the road maybe?
Some extra blankets for queen bed would have been good. Weather was freezing overnight. Had everything we needed in kitchen. Friendly helpful staff. Cabin very clean. Traffic noise from trucks overnight a bit hard to get used to. Overall a nice stay over. Will go back again.

Thought we booked a luxury cabin, we returned to reception and ask if we could be placed in one of the larger cabins , and were told they were booked out and we couldn’t have one. All three were empty all night. We had our small poodle and booked pet friendly accommodation and were then told we shouldn’t have the dog in the park. Too far out of town and very very basic.

Firstly i want to clarify that you didn't book a luxury cabin you booked a standard cabin which are our pet friendly ones :-) I upgraded you to one of our superior ones which traditionally aren't pet friendly however I was happy to upgrade you to that. When you came to office and asked about our executive ones we had all of those booked for people coming into work at the wind farm they didn't show up that night they came the next day but the had paid for night before so i couldn't let them out as they were supposed to arrive that day. i did point out that they weren't pet friendly and even the one that you were in wasn't supposed to be pet friendly but i t was fine for you to be in that one. so to wrap it up dogs are more than welcome in the park and in all of our standard cabins :-)
Great, friendly staff, good amenities and nice and close to town. Very clean cabins and park. Only downside for us was some maintenance being done during our stay meaning we couldn't use a couple of facilities, but good for future visitors. Would definitely stay again.
The property owner Kirsty i think her name was, was an absolutel gem.. i had to change dates and she made whole process hassle free, check in was so easy and definitely would stay there again if in Horsham

Clean unit. Air con on when we arrived. There was everything we needed for an overnight stay. Check in was super easy. Relatively quiet even though it’s close to the main highway.

Thanks for your kind review I'm glad you enjoyed your stay :-)
The property was great value, clean, well set out. Of the 3 parks we stayed in across Victoria and South Australia it was by far the best.
The only one of the 3 different brand parks with a true queen size bed. The cleanest, the best of the quality of the 3 park brands as a cabin. The most updated and well set out. Great shower head.
Great staff customer service should be recognized by their brands corporate office for these achievements we believe.....
