"Wonderful place, about an hour from the east gate of Yellowstone. Breakfast was really good, room was clean, staff was really helpful and nice. Adult only pool from 10P to midnight, which was a great quiet way to end a long and wonderful day in Yellowstone."

"Location is super convenient for Mt Rushmore. I will say that the online info on hotels.com states that it’s an 18 minute WALK to mt Rushmore. This is untrue. I thought maybe there was a cute little back path or cut thru to make this viable since it’s also a 10 minute drive. Not the case. It would take *awhile* to walk there and a lot of it uphill next to a road with cars going quick. Just in case you saw the walk distance and thought “yay”! The hotel was clean and in decent shape but it’s definitely on the older side. The rooms are fairly dark. We were in one of the 2 queen suites with a pullout couch and that was perfect for our fam of 5. The mini fridge was helpful. The staff was super friendly and answered Qs for us before and after arriving! Pool was a nice break for activities altho it’s a pretty shallow pool (good for kids!). Parking was easy, check in was easy. The breakfast selection was standard… waffle makers, eggs, sausage, cereal, bagels, bread and a pastry I think. Apples, bananas, yogurt. What was missing was oatmeal and hard boiled eggs which a lot of places will have as an option. Overall it was a fine place to stay and we’d do it again - we’re not really staying there for the hotel experience, just the convenient location and decent pricing but it was still nice enough :)"

"Based on the pictures I expected a quiet cabin in the forest campground. But the lodge is located on a side of a very busy freeway. When I say on a side it is literally on the side. It was insanely loud. You cant open windows because of the noise even at night. You cant sit outside because all you see and hear are cars. No birds, no mountain air. There was no peace you expect from a cabin. That was a huge disappointment. Also, the room is tiny. There is no way a family can stay in it. There is literally no space for more than 2 carry-on. There also was a guest who kept smoking outside of tbe cabin. Pros: The water pressure was the best ever I saw in any hotel, even in resorts. Bed was comfortable. Convenient location to the Mt. Rushmore and the town. They give free bags of ice. There is laundry on the compound. $15 voucher for food Amazing restaurant."
