"We staying in the XXL which came with 2 double beds and 1 double sofa bed. The 2 double beds and sofa bed we're separated by a wall and sliding door. The room was a good size and the bathroom clean. The walk in shower was excellent. The air con was good in the main room (sofa bed) but we found the separate room (2 double beds) was quite warm because of the heatwave. The beds were comfy. There was plenty of parking spaces and the hotel looked great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The on site bar and restaurant were very good. We were very pleased with our stay."

"This hotel is decent. The breakfast is very good. There is a lovely outdoor patio next to a canal which is a great location for a leisurely breakfast or afternoon break. The room are larger than usual and they were serviced after both nights. We happened to be staying during the recent heat spell. Monsuier does not have air conditioning. Our fan was small so did not help a lot. The windows don't have screen which meant bugs can get in. One of us had several bites. The mosquito zapper only helped a bit. According to the hotel staff the city won't allow air conditioning in old buildings. If heat waves continue, they need more fans and screens for comfortable nights during heat spells. The staff did the best they could and we're very friendly. Location is decent also."

"Ideal location just 10 minutes walk from the station and 10 minutes to the Market Place. Lots of great restaurants in the vicinity. Staff very friendly and helpful, decent size rooms very modern and clean. Excellent choice of food and drink at breakfast."

"Very impressive hotel. Plenty of available parking and on arriving the staff at reception were helpful, friendly and ensured our check in was quick and easy. Lovely bar and restaurant where we ate as it was extremely well presented/decorated/furnished. My room was large and well appointed and like the rest of the hotel nicely furnished /decorated and it makes a pleasant change to a lot of hotel rooms to have both a large shower and large bath. Both our evening meal and breakfast were excellent. Highly recommend this hotel especially useful for our trip as we were returning from Germany and need a stop over before travelling home from Calais as only a short journey to Le Shuttle/Calais."

"We really liked the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the room was air conditioned during a very hot spell. The pool was a bit small and the water seemed overly green but this was more than made up by the staff who were friendly and helpful. An enjoyable stay."
