Very nice hotel is excellent location just across main railway station and with very convenient parking. Pretty closely to old town, shops and restaurants. Excellent buffet breakfast included.

Really cool hotel in an ancient Medieval building right in the heart of the city. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and I love that it was downstairs in the old wine cellar. Location is excellent. Overall clean property. Only drawback was there was no AC and only 2 small fans in the entire apartment. Not enough for the summer months.

A very Czech town with many lovely parks and a beautiful old downtown. Great place for biking since it's very level. Much less expensive than prague but then it's not prague. Friendly people and surprisingly many pubs, bars, and good restaurants.
I've spent quite a bit of time in Hradec. Consider visiting Adrspach Rocks Natl Park, going up the white tower in the square, or taking a bus to Běleč to swim in the sand pit and get a sausage and beer at the pub.
